WHAT ARE CHEMICAL PEELS?
The chemical peel process removes dead skin cells and can improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and sun damage. Chemical peels can be performed on the face, neck, or hands, and the strength of the solution used will be adjusted to suit your skin type and concerns. The active ingredients in chemical peels can include alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs), and trichloroacetic acid (TCA). After a chemical peel, the skin may appear red and flaky for several days, but ultimately the result is a smoother, brighter complexion.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF CHEMICAL PEELS?
At Simply Creative, we have different custom blends of skin-resurfacing chemical peels. Our peels are a type of chemical peel that use a unique blend of ingredients to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin. They are safe for all skin types and tones. The peel contains a combination of trichloroacetic acid (TCA), salicylic acid, retinoic acid, phenol, and vitamin C. Our combinations are designed to target multiple skin concerns, such as acne, fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone. The peels are a medium-depth peel that penetrates deeper into the skin than superficial peels but is less intense than deep peels and painless.
